A cryptic clue joins a definition and a piece of wordplay that lead to the same answer. Criptika gives you one free cryptic every day and three with Premium. You type the answer letter by letter, ask for hints when you need them, and the clue is explained once it's solved.
There are no accounts and no ads. Progress, stats and streaks stay on the device.
Criptika is my own product. I came up with the idea, designed the whole experience, from the game rules, hints and Free and Premium plans to the interface and visual identity, and I own the app.

Premium is a monthly subscription through the App Store. The price comes from the App Store and isn't written into the app.
Once a clue is solved, the app explains step by step how the answer is built. The library keeps past cryptics to look back on: the last seven days on Free, all of them with Premium.
Stats are worked out from saved progress: cryptics solved, accuracy, days played, average time, hints used and the last seven days. A streak counts consecutive days, Madrid time, with at least one cryptic solved.
Letter tiles are the core of the interface. A strong violet carries the brand, amber marks the letter in play, and the rest of the palette stays quiet so the clue comes first.
